The comments below have been received from some of our valued customers who have bought Continental saddles. We hope they will help with your important decision...
In June 2006, I bought a Continental “Montana” Western saddle through OzTack.
I had previously been researching the pros and cons of many western saddles on the market. Coming from an ‘English’ background and being new to Western, I wanted a western saddle that gave me all the benefits that I currently enjoyed in my dressage saddle. I contacted Kylie from OzTack and was intrigued by the idea of a reining saddle even though I intended to compete in Western Pleasure. So I checked out Continental saddles on the internet and was impressed by what I found. I also researched the tree maker - Steele Saddle Tree Co - since the tree is the foundation of any saddle.
Kylie brought a selection of saddles for me to look at and to try on my horse. I eventually chose the ‘Montana” and have been very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable, is an excellent fit, enables me to have an effective leg position and is excellent value for money. It also draws attention because of its unique silver pattern - whether we are training or competing. Kylie was also able to arrange a matching show bridle from Continental to complete the picture.
I have been very impressed with the service I have received from Kylie and her “can do” attitude. I was able to discuss my requirements at length and her advice and suggestions were always well received.
I love my Continental saddle and would be happy to recommend them.

I have had my German Reiner for nearly two years & absolutely love it. It is the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden in & find it very hard to ride in a normal (non-flex tree) saddle. I have a number of show horses & the German Reiner fits them all. It is a comfortable ride for both horse and rider, no aching joints from the rigid bouncing on the fixed trees. The flex tree lets you move with the horse & have better contact.
Last year I won State Champion Senior Reining on my Paint Horse, Karalinga Koloma & I'm sure that the comfort of the saddle helped us get there. Now I have a well known Paint reining stallion and I will be putting him to the test in my Continental Saddle. We have already done well in our first competition.
Keep up the good work, Continental & a thankyou to Kylie (our Ozzie rep) for letting me try & buy such & great saddle.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
Purchasing a Sedona was the best choice I could have made, I am very impressed with the excellent craftsmanship, good quality leather and tasteful tooling, I alway's get compliments on this saddle for it's stylish looks and great fit.
The perfectly balanced seat with narrow twist and padded seat combined with pre turned fenders make this the most comfortable saddle I have ridden in and my horses performance and obvious comfort improved from the very first ride.
I've recently acquired a matching headstall which has been beautifully crafted by Continental saddlery for a truly unique look & when competing use
Perfect Fit Horseware boots for ultimate leg protection .
I would recommend these saddles and accessories to every one...I can't fault mine.

Thank you so very much for my saddle. lt is just the best thing since sliced bread !
lt is so comfortable and my horses are never sore - it fits like a dream. l have used it on 3 yr olds growing, to an aged tank of a mare and it fits perfectly. Fantastic for the horses. l use it for pleasure and trail riding. lt is so low maintenance l really do use it everyday - yet for showing, my German Reiner holds it's own in the ring. lt looks stunning and l always get remarks on it. l have to say l had another Australian brand saddle [expensive too] and it was no where near the comfort and seat placing yours has. lt really is great!!
Again, thank you. you are a pleasure to deal with and ever so helpful. l tell all my friends how good the saddle is, and; how great your service and advice is.
Sincerely
Andrea Hearn :)
To anyone who is thinking of buying a Continental saddle -Just do it!
Not only is the service by Kylie at Oz Tack second to none, the saddles are pretty awesome as well!
I have had my Sedona Ladies Reiner for about 18 months and have found it to be comfortable, durable, versatile and it looks great!
Everywhere I take it, I have comments from observers and competitors alike, on how much they like it. My grandmother picks me out at shows, not by looking for my horse, but by looking for my saddle!
I use it for reining and western pleasure, on a daily basis, on several different shaped horses, it has fitted them all beautifully - seemingly adjusting it’s self to their backs effortlessly.
One horse I use it on, had a history of back problems, having to be treated every month - in the 18 months since I have had the saddle he has only had to be treated twice.
I have had a horse roll with this saddle on; it came out with nothing but a couple of surface scratches, after conditioning it, they are now un-noticeable. Obviously these saddles were built to last!
As the rider, my saddle was an “old favorite” from the first ride the cushioning and molding were fantastic. At the end of a full days clinic, or several hours out trail riding I still feel really comfortable - no sore spots!
I have ridden in a few of the high end “brand name” saddles and I can say without a doubt that mine is the most comfortable I have ridden in.
